About Us and Our Goals

Greetings.

John PicMy name is John Hitchcock, and I grew up at the base of Eleventh Mountain in upper New York State. As I spent considerable time on the mountain, I learned how to be alone safely, quickly realized that thinking was an acceptable activity and somehow gained the courage to share those thoughts openly with others.

As my teaching career is beginning to slowly transition into retirement, I gained the impetus to share some of my thinking on a broader scale. Thus developed the desire to create an Internet business, one focus of which is to write, publish and market a series of ebooks on various topics.

How about you?

Does a book reside deep within, or maybe near the surface, of your mind? Do you have a desire to put those words and ideas out for the world to ponder or enjoy?

One thing I am NOT is an expert on this process of writing and marketing ebooks. But as a career teacher, I have been able to take the steps I have followed and decrease the learning curve significantly.I am still learning, and suspect that will never stop.

I have learned enough, however, to get an ebook written, published on Amazon and given reasonable marketing effort. Most importantly, if you want to get your book out there, I would be glad to share what I do know with you.

So if you are interested in learning the simple process of getting your ebook from mind to Amazon, you can sign up for our series of six lessons that can help you become a published author. Your ideas, whether they be practical and functional or great imaginings of a mystery novel, can be shared with the world.

If someone else can do it, so can you!

My parents taught me a rather simple philosophy. If someone else can do it, likely you can figure out a way to do it yourself. And as a teacher, I have a strong desire to help others master the system quicker and more efficiently than myself.

Early in my life I experienced a rather traumatic time, from which I emerged with a freedom to become the person God intended for me. You can read about that in one of my ebooks, “Live Better from the Inside Out.” (How’s that for blatant advertisement!)

The point is, somehow I learned that my self-image should never stifle what I felt within.

I sincerely hope for you the freedom and courage to express your thoughts and ideas with others. Who knows? What you have inside might inspire or help others in ways you could never imagine.
